Get my first bass guitar ebay which is better on both?

as im new im going to get a cheap one this year a starter kit, but which one? One who & why??

The same. I do not know for retailers in the UK, but Fender Squier is a set of starting super (especially the bass) and I know Ibanez, which is another great brand, does not set as starter. It is very possible that the bass is perfectly fine, but honestly until you know enough about the various facilities to make an informed decision making, you are better to go with a starter kit from a well established brand and paying the extra 5 or 10 quid to get it set up by a professional so that sounds as good as he can.
